Scott Pieri
Morning On-Air Minister

Born the second of four children to Ed and Val Pieri in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Scott began his radio career as a news director in 1988 in a small town in Colorado. Prior to hearing God's calling to work for His kingdom, Scott spent 10 years at a country radio station in Marshalltown, Iowa, where he served as program director, music director and morning announcer. He also met his wife, Joy, during this time. Together, Scott and his wife have six kids ranging in age from six to 23 and enjoy the blessing of two grandchildren. Their family currently resides in Lake Park.

In his spare time Scott enjoys reading, writing, running and camping. A favorite bible verse of his comes from Psalm 118: "This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it."

"When one or more areas in life are not going well," Scott says, "it is important to recognize that God has, at the very least, given us another day to live for and love Him and the people around us."
